History: (Spider-Man Magazine I#4) - The radiation-absorbing Sunbeam became a heroine, declaring herself the enemy of any of the X-Men's enemies.

Comments: Created by Melody Olsen.

Sunbeam is a product of the 1994 Spider-Man Magazine's "Create Your Own Super Hero or Super-Villain" section that ran in most issues of the magazine. In the case of Sunbeam, she was created by (then) 10-year old Melody Olsen of Port Jefferson, New York. Due to Sunbeam's status as a fringe character, there is no evidence to support Sunbeam's existence on Earth-616 but there is also no evidence to suggest she isn't on Earth-616.

No origin was given for Sunbeam but given that it was noted that her enemies include any enemy of the X-Men, it seems to suggest that perhaps she is a mutant.

Her physical stats were impossible to approximate, as she was never seen next to any character whose height & weight had been officially determined.

Profile by Proto-Man.
