History:
(Daredevil I#190 (fb) - BTS) – A
trainee of the Chaste was
removed from training by Stick for not making necessary progress. He
instead
became a sensei, training other warriors in Japan.
(Daredevil I#190 (fb) - BTS/Elektra: Root of Evil#3 (fb) - BTS) - After 9-year old Elektra's life was threatened, her father, Hugo Natchios, flew in a sensei from Japan to begin training her in self-defense.
(Elektra: Root of Evil#4 (fb) - BTS) - Elektra spent a year training with her sensei, making many improvements.
(Elektra: Assassin#1 (fb) ) - The sensei was pleased with Elektra's progress in training.
(Daredevil I#190 (fb) - BTS/Elektra: Root of Evil#1 (fb) - BTS) - When Elektra was ten years old, her sensei pushed her hard, telling her she was a waste of her father's money. At age 12, the sensei was knocked down by Elektra, whose skills have improved. He confessed there was nothing more to tell her, and told her of the Chaste: Stone, Claw, Flame, Wing, Star, Shaft, and Stick.
(Daredevil I#190 (fb)) – Elektra returned to her sensei after training with the Chaste for one year but she too was turned away. Elektra told him of a plan to infiltrate the Hand and then turn against them. He warned her that they would corrupt her but knew they would be seeking her out regardless now. The Hand soon captured the sensei and poisoned him. They then placed him in a pit with sais to arm himself. Elektra was told to pass a test for initiation. The put her into the pit and she attacked and swiftly killed the man there before realizing it was her sensei. She cried out in horror at what she had done.
