History: (Ant-Man II#4 (fb) - BTS) - The worker ant Pam was placed in charge of which ants enter and exit the ant hill where she resided.

(Ant-Man II#1 (fb) - BTS) - When Ant-Man needed a place to live and chose the ant hill where Pam and others resided, Pam vouched for Ant-Man so that he could take up temporary residence in the ant hill.

(Ant-Man II#1) - After Ant-Man, angry that a photo of him ran too small in a local newspaper to drum up security business, swatted the paper down on several ant eggs, the ants took the eggs somewhere more safe and Pam located Ant-Man due to his human pheromones. Ant-Man recalled Pam vouching for him and when Pam appeared sad at her decision to allow Ant-Man to live there, Ant-Man suggested she not start on him. Pam nonetheless reminded Ant-Man that "ant dirt was not man dirt" and Ant-Man responded by insisting that he respected the ant hill and stayed out of the ants' way. As he was assuring Pam that the other ants had no idea he was even there, Ant-Man's daughter Stinger yelled at him from outside the ant hill. Pam then gave Ant-Man a sly look as Ant-Man decided to go above ground and see what Stinger wanted.

(Ant-Man II#3) - When Ant-Man later returned to the ant hill without his flying ant Chudley, Pam immediately began harping on Ant-Man for growing Chudley to giant size then not bringing him home. Ant-Man argued that Chudley had abandoned him in the Florida panhandle, forcing him to ride a junebug back to Pam's ant hill. Pam then commented that the other ants were wondering how long Ant-Man was going to continue living there, prompting Ant-Man to ask for five minutes to decompress and refill his Pym Particle supply after dealing with the insectoid Macrothrax. Seeing the Pym Particles stored in the ant hill, Pam responded by saying Ant-Man's "man eggs" took up too much and Ant-Man insisted that the Pym Particles were not "man eggs." When he explained how they allowed him to alter his size, Ant-Man asked Pam to show a little respect for the Particles but Pam replied that it wasn't her to job to respect his "man eggs."

Stinger soon arrived in the ant hill to discuss with her father the possibility of moving to the west coast to join Hawkeye (Kate Bishop)'s west coast Avengers team but the nosy Pam, unable to understand the English that both Ant-Man and Stinger were speaking, kept butting in, asking the duo to speak bug-speak. Ant-Man eventually asked Pam for a moment alone and Pam went off deeper into the ant hill claiming she was busy anyway.

(Ant-Man II#4) - After Macrothrax invaded Pam's ant hill, Pam began releasing the "scream scent" to warn the other ants of danger and rally them to fight back. Unfortunately, Pam felt she could not release the "scream scent" enough, as the "scream scent" ultimately lead to more "death scent" in regards to her fellow ants. Eventually, Macrothrax's controlled bees went after Ant-Man's stash of Pym Particles and Pam and the ants attempted to fight off the bees but Pam ultimately had no "scream scent" left and the bees absconded with the Pym Particles. Surviving long enough for Ant-Man to return, Pam informed Ant-Man of what had happened before dying, using her last bits of life to inform Ant-Man that he was the last survivor of her colony. Stinger comforted her father and assured him that they would find Macrothrax and avenge Pam's death.

While not in the actual story, Pam appears in the recap page for Ant-Man II#2, explaining to readers what they missed in issue#1. She also appears outside the story on the recap page of Ant-Man II#3, where her full name of Pamela was revealed.

Ant-Man II#4's physical edition has not yet been released (as of 7/28/2020) due to the shutdowns caused by the novel Coronavirus but the digital edition has been added to Marvel's website, allowing me to cover that information for this profile.

HUGE thanks to Mike Fichera for approximating Pam's length and weight!

CLARIFICATIONS:
Pam has no known connections to:

Chudley

Chudley was a flying ant that lived either in the ant hill with Pam or not far away, as Ant-Man recruited Chudley to help him in a case to check on local bees for Dr. Sandra Stulley. Enlarging Chudley, Ant-Man had Chudley fly him to the Florida State Beekeepers Association to investigate the missing bees. While Ant-Man battled the insectoid Macrothrax and his agents, Chudley was lured away from the Beekeepers Association, only to fly right into the clutches of Macrothrax, who trapped Chudley and demanded to know where he came from. Eventually, Chudley was tortured into revealing to Macrothrax the location of Ant-Man's Pym Particles inside Pam's ant hill. He was then killed.

Chudley's death was not shown on panel but it was revealed in the recap page of Ant-Man II#4.
