History:
(Over the Edge#6 (fb) - BTS) - N'Banu was an
exceptional student at a Wakandan school with a fascination for
America. He caught the attention of the Black Panther (T'Challa), but
was also recruited as a spy by T'Challa's rival, Killmonger. T'Challa
traveled to the USA to secure the murderous Klaw's extradition and
N'Banu went with him, secretly informing Killmonger of his movements.
(Over the Edge#6) - N'Banu accompanied T'Challa to
see Foggy Nelson regarding the legal process to secure Klaw. The next
day, observed by N'Banu, T'Challa was captured and chained to a bomb by
Killmonger, who revealed the boy's treachery. Killmonger, his men,
N'Banu and Klaw fled to the docks to return to Wakanda. When N'Banu
questioned Killmonger on his ruthless actions, he was struck down and
realized the true danger was Killmonger. Aided by Daredevil, Black
Panther escaped and thwarted Killmonger. T'Challa entrusted the
repentant N'Banu with a special Vibranium pendant; the youth risked his
life to help stop Klaw. Although injured, N'Banu affirmed his loyalty
to T'Challa and Wakanda, and T'Challa was proud to be considered his
friend.
