(Black Panther: The Most Dangerous Man Alive#528 (fb) - BTS) - Mr. Madison, an attorney, helped the Kingpin put together a complicated plot to take over the Bank of Wakanda, which would allow the Kingpin to control many areas of Wakanda and exploit them for riches. Kingpin planned to murder key members of the Board of Directors of the bank, then persuade the other board members to turn a vote a particular way. Madison had Kingpin store data in a particular bank and helped him set up a board meeting. When Black Panther approached Madison, the lawyer revealed everything the Kingpin had done in exchange for diplomatic immunity.
(Black Panther: The Most Dangerous Man Alive#528) - Madison went to Shadowland and briefed Kingpin in front of the Hand on the Kingpin's attempts to take over the Bank of Wakanda. Madison gave Kingpin certain assurances, but Kingpin wasn't sure he could believe Madison. Later, Madison called the Kingpin from the Wakandan embassy, where he was being kept safe, to give him bad news about the struggles with the merger. Kingpin suspected Madison's betrayal.
