History: (Ms. Marvel III#13 (fb) ) - A human with Inhuman lineage who was granted superhuman powers by the Terrigen Bomb, Kaboom fell under the sway of Inhuman renegade Lineage.

(Ms. Marvel III#13) - Kaboom attacked downtown Jersey City, claiming that the city was "under new management". As terrified civilians fled, she was confronted by local Inhuman superhero Ms. Marvel, who got a few solid hits on her before Kaboom revealed that she, too, was an Inhuman. Kaboom took advantage of Ms. Marvel's shock and hit her in the face with an energy blast, but an enraged Ms. Marvel struck back with such ferocity that Kaboom was knocked unconscious.

(Ms. Marvel III#14) - Suffering from a slipped disc, Kaboom was loaded into an ambulance. Later, now wearing a neck brace, she rejoined Lineage in New Attilan, which Lineage had taken over, and confronted Ms. Marvel, who their ally Kamran had captured.

(Ms. Marvel III#15) - Ms. Marvel rejected Lineage's offer to join them and fled; Lineage ordered Kaboom and Kamran to give chase. Kaboom pursued Ms. Marvel into a training room; Ms. Marvel was familiar with the layout, and activated the training program. Kaboom was beset by a legion of holographic monsters, allowing Ms. Marvel to escape.

(Ms. Marvel III#17) - After Lineage kidnapped Ms. Marvel's brother Aamir, who he believed to be a nascent Inhuman, Ms. Marvel and Captain Marvel attempted to track him down. As they neared Lineage's hideout, Kaboom attacked them, but she was no match for the duo's combined powers. Kaboom claimed that Aamir was with them of his own free will, but Captain Marvel intimidated her into surrendering Aamir's location, where he was already being exposed to Terrigen.

If you've got glowing eyes and a crackling electrical fire for hair, do you even need a costume? Kaboom, clearly, thinks not.
