History: (Captain America VIII#695 (fb)) -
While living in Tallahassee, John Garcia was rescued from a burning
building by Captain America and was awestruck upon seeing the burned
and blackened Captain America run back inside the building to save
others. Inspired by Captain America, John moved to Orlando, Florida and
became a first responder.
(Captain America VIII#695) - Eight years later, John
traveled to Captain America, Nebraska and spoke at the annual Captain
America Celebration about his past encounter with Cap and how it had
inspired him to become a first responder.
