History: (What If? II#23 (fb) - BTS) - Wolverine joined the newly-minted Canadian superteam Alpha Flight. When Moses Magnum attacked Japan and the Avengers were unavailable, Wolverine and Alpha Flight were loaned to Japan to help defend the country, unaware that the Japanese hero Sunfire had also contacted his former allies in the X-Men.

(What If? II#23) - Teaming with the X-Men, Wolverine and Alpha Flight battled Moses Magnum, with Wolverine slashing the legs of Magnum's robots. Following Magnum's defeat, Wolverine, Alpha Flight and the X-Men were invited to stay a few days in Japan as a sort of vacation and during that time, Wolverine befriended the X-Men and developed romantic feelings for Sunfire's cousin Mariko. At one point when Wolverine was with Mariko, he was observed by the X-Men's field leader Cyclops, who felt that while Wolverine was the most intense man he had ever met, Wolverine was still able to make time for personal romance. Seeing Wolverine finding the time to spend with Mariko, Cyclops decided he wanted to propose to his teammate Marvel Girl.

Comments: Created by Kurt Busiek, Rodney Ramos and Doug Hazlewood.

Since Earth-913 diverged from Earth-616, it seems quite likely that Wolverine's real name is James Howlett but no name was ever given for him in the only appearance he's been in.

His height and weight are approximated from that of his Earth-616 counterpart. He was never seen without his mask so it was impossible to determine his eye and hair color but it also presumably matches his Earth-616 counterpart.
