History: (Spider-Man Magazine I#5) - Dragona used her dragon-like superhuman powers to fight criminals such as Professor Midknight, Bombshell, Scorpianne, Rex Rapator, Motherra and Arachne. She also earned the enmity of fellow superhero Stingray.

Comments: Created by Mary Rath.

Dragona was a product of the 1994 Spider-Man Magazine's "Create Your Own Super Hero or Super-Villain" section that ran through the earlier issues of the Magazine. In Dragona's case, she was created by then-13-year-old Mary Rath of Villa Park, Illinois.

The characters of Arachne, Bombshell and Stingray listed in Dragona's text could theoretically be the Earth-616 characters (and links are provided to the profiles if they have Appendix profiles), as other characters from the "Create Your Own Super Hero or Super-Villain" section have referenced Earth-616 characters (such as Sound Man's enmity with Doctor Octopus & affiliation with Spider-Man). In addition, some of the characters created for the Magazine also have intertwined history, such as Metal Gear's enmity with Plant Man. If anything ever establishes that the Arachne, Bombshell and Stingray listed as her enemies were new characters, this profile will be adjusted to reflect that. Despite all of these notes, there is no evidence to outright suggest Dragona existed on Earth-616 but there is equally no evidence to say she didn't either...

Dragona's height and weight were impossible to approximate, as she was not seen next to any character whose physical stats had been officially determined. In addition, she was not seen out of costume so her eye and hair color were not seen.

Dragona's origin was also not revealed so it was unclear if she was some sort of mutant, mutate, Inhuman, alien, etc.

Profile by Proto-Man.
