(Daredevil I#305) - Hearing about the Kingpin's empire being carved up among lesser criminals, Vegas-based criminals Deragon, Venkura, and Marky discussed plots to get their own piece of the empire. They hired Terror Inc., and considered hiring a mob lawyer to represent them in a legal battle for the territory as well.
(Daredevil I#306 (fb) - BTS) - Deragon contacted former mob lawyer, Foggy Nelson, in New York, putting him and his partner Matt Murdock on retainer.
(Daredevil I#306) - Deragon, Marky, and Jake discussed the pending arrival of Nelson and Murdock, and wondered if they would be up to the job. Deragon said they would kill Nelson if he didn't do as they expected.
(Daredevil I#307) - Deragon and Joey, surrounded by their employees with guns, met Foggy Nelson and Matt Murdock in Las Vegas. After getting Murdock a pair of new glasses, Deragon explained that they'd hired the lawyers to make sure they got part of the profits from the Kingpin's empire. Nelson and Murdock were quickly reluctant to do any business with Deragon, but hardly had time to explain when Tombstone attacked on behalf of the Maggia, killing many of Deragon's allies with knives and guns. Nomad and Daredevil fought off Tombstone shortly after.
(Daredevil I#308 (fb) - BTS) - More of Deragon's men were taken out, leaving Daredevil to investgate.
