Comments: Created by Ken Levine and Marc Sairy.
From the fictitious article, the story featuring Captain Romanus stopping Brutus was published on a wall in Pompeii circa 67A.D. Around that time, Nero was Emperor, but of course historically, it was Julius Caesar who Brutus assassinated; presumably, the story was set in the relative past to the year it was published. The article also notes that rising bas-relief costs and invading barbarian hordes forced the cancellation of Captain Romanus in 77 A.D.
The story provides no hard evidence as to his
physical stats, but since he's clearly based on Captain America, I have
ASSumed he shares Steve Roger's height, weight, eye and hair color.
Profile by Loki.
Captain Romanus is an alternate reality counterpart to, but should not be confused with:
He has no known connections to:
Brutus was a Roman Senator, and, from his appearance, a gamma mutate.
Moving with surprising speed given his bulk, he attempted to assassinate
Caesar but was stopped by Captain Romanus.
