History: (Avengers Standoff: Welcome to Pleasant Hill#1 - BTS) - When an amnesiac man (actually a transformed Baron Helmut Zemo) was found in the woods near Pleasant Hill, Connecticut, Sheriff Eva of the Pleasant Hill police found him and remarked that in the worst case scenario, Dorothy Bixby would likely put the man up for the night.

(Avengers Standoff: Welcome to Pleasant Hill#1 (fb) - BTS) - After the man met Dr. Erik Selvig and his nurse Vicki, he fled from them but upon his capture, he was taken to Dorothy Bixby's home-based hotel and Dorothy was told by Selvig that the man was suffering from amnesia.

(Avengers Standoff: Welcome to Pleasant Hill#1) - The next day, the man awoke to find himself in a hotel room, where Dorothy Bixby greeted him as she was about to put some fresh towels outside his door. When the man appeared confused, Dorothy introduced herself as the proprietor of the home-based hotel. Explaining that Dr. Selvig had informed her of the man's amnesia, Dorothy admitted that she was not a trained professional but suggested that there was nothing a little fresh air would not cure. The man seemed somewhat apprehensive and Dorothy smiled, assuring the man that there were worse places to be than the small town of Pleasant Hill. Eighteen days later, the man (who had taken to calling himself "Jim") had seemingly accepted his role within Pleasant Hill and had begun helping Dorothy fix up her house.

Dorothy Bixby was never seen next to any character whose height and weight had been officially given so it was impossible to approximate her height and weight.

Also, given the nature of Pleasant Hill as a secret prison for super criminals, it was unclear if Dorothy Bixby was a transformed criminal, an undercover S.H.I.E.L.D. agent guard or simply a civilian contracted out to live in Pleasant Hill.
