History: (New Mutants I#98) - Adam mediated a training session for Gideon, in which Gideon ordered Adam when to initiate the attack sequence in a random pattern for more of a challenge. Adam reluctantly did so but warned Gideon that the robot training modules were the best Shaw Industries had to offer. While easily defeating the modules, Gideon had Adam take a memo to Sebastian Shaw asking that the training modules be a little quieter for the money Gideon was paying. Adam responded that Gideon's powers should not make him so over-confident against the multi-pronged assault that Adam had prepared but Gideon laughed that of course his powers gave him such confidence. After Gideon completed Adam's training sequence, he asked Adam what was on his agenda for the day and Adam replied that Gideon had several meetings including ones with the Taylor Foundation, Ms. Chaffee, DaCosta International, Roxxon and another workout sequence at 4pm. Gideon then ordered Adam to prepare his jet for a later trip to New Orleans for a seafood dinner, prompting Adam to ask if Ms. Chaffee would be joining Gideon for dinner. Gideon suggested they see how lunch went and then asked if he had anyone in place at DaCosta International, to which Adam replied that Eve was there. Gideon followed up by ordering Adam to Eve proceed as planned.

(New Mutants I#99) - Adam informed Gideon that Sunspot was waiting on him in the den and Gideon replied that he was on his way, as he had gotten hung up with something interesting on television. Adam sarcastically asked if it was the Playboy Channel but Gideon grimly remarked that if it was his personal I-Spy network of camera surveillance. When Gideon arrived in the den, Adam was calmly standing behind Sunspot.

(New Warriors I#19 (fb)) - When the New Warriors arrived on Gideon's Vail, Colorado property to investigate Ophrah Industries' dealings with the Taylor Foundation, Adam immediately noticed the unwanted company on the property and reported it to Gideon, who asked who it was. Adam informed Gideon that he was not sure but the arrival speed suggested superhumans, prompting Gideon to order Adam to deal with the intruders as he didn't want to be disturbed.

(Cable III#152 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, Adam was given a cybernetic upgrade to include weapons for protection.

(Cable III#152) - When a future incarnation of telepathic cyborg Cable assembled a group of heroes to investigate the deaths of the recently resurrected Externals, he visited the last Ophrah Industries building in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Colorado, where Adam was activated after Cable poked around at a stasis tube housing the near-dead Gideon. Adam quickly ordered the heroes to leave or die, prompting Ophrah's Eve to ask if Adam's threats were necessary. Adam replied that they had come to threaten Gideon so he believed the threats were indeed necessary. When a very much alive Gideon (actually his future Earth-18352 counterpart) appeared and threatened Cable, Adam rushed to protect his supposed master, only to be cut into pieces by X-23, his severed head caught by Eve.

Comments: Created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza.

Adam was never seen with his eyes showing in either body. In his original body, he was only seen from behind, or squinting, or in shadow, and in his cybernetic body, he was wearing a visor. Therefore, his eye color was impossible to determine. In addition, the height and weight of his original, more humanoid body, was impossible to determine as he was never seen at an angle that allowed proper approximation of his height and weight (i.e. he was standing while others with officially determined physical stats were sitting or far away from him).
