History:

(Spidey Super Stories#28/4 (fb)) - Badly groomed and poor fashion choices made the woman who would become Wallflower feel foolish and rejected, so she changed her looks with an oversized pigtailed hairstyle and gaudy clothes, but people still laughed at her. So she used a love potion that caused men to fall instantly in love with her and follow her. She applied this as a scent to flowers (dubbing some "love lillies") and passed them to those whom she wanted to obey her.

(Spidey Super Stories#28/4) - Desiring to captivate all men in the city, she stood on stage with the Short Circus band at a dance hall and scattered her love lillies into the dancing crowd. Men became smitten with her, jaywalking while following her, and she also influenced a policeman to ignore that. Even Spider-Man, swinging by, became entranced and sought to impress her. Causing traffic mayhem, Heck's Angels motorbikers harassed her, but she cast flowers at them and quickly became lead rider in their pack. Meanwhile, a female friend of Spidey's took away his love lily and he regained self-will. Realizing what had happened, he webbed Wallflower up, then snipped off other men's love lillies using shears made from webbing, freeing them of Wallflower's influence. Out of flowers, Wallflower felt dejected again, but the policeman still asked her to the Policeman's Ball.

This Wallflower has no known Earth-616 counterpart.

Heck's Angels is, of course, a reference to the motorcycle club Hell's Angels. No references to "hell" in a comic for young kids!

Profile by Grendel Prime.

CLARIFICATIONS :
Wallflower of Earth-57780 has no known connections to:

Heck's Angels

Heck's Angels was a loud motorbike club (who seemed to like purple?). Wanting to bully Wallflower for being in their way, she instead made them her followers with her scented love lillies. She took a motorbike and rode at the head of the pack until Spider-Man webbed her up and eliminated her devotion-inducing flowers, which rid Heck's Angels of her chemical influence.
