History: (Heroes for Hire II#3) - Veil visited the Corporation's Hart Island Technologies and Bio-Research Division, where she was greeted by Simon. Simon informed her that the majority of the Corporation's organ transplantees responded well to their alien organ transplants, with only a small amount rejecting the transplants. Veil reminded Simon that their clients were paying a lot of money and their safety had to be ensured. She then accompanied Simon as they walked through the facility, asking about the 10% of the organs that were not usable. Simon assured her the organs were disposed of appropriately and then led Veil into a room housing several criminals who had successfully had organ transplants. Veil explained to the criminals that they now had the perfect shape-shifting disguise and announced that the recent Superhuman Registration Act would no longer be a problem for them.

Comments: Created by Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti, Francis Portela, Billy Tucci and Tom Palmer.

Veil's powers were never explained. It's possible that she could be a mutant, a human mutate, an Inhuman or even a human technological user, as any phasing technology might be concealed beneath her veil.
