History:

(Spider-Woman IV#1 (fb) - BTS) - In what became known as the Secret Invasion, the Skrull Empire had sent spies to replace many of Earth's people in preparation of conquering the planet. One of them settled in Madripoor and chose to impersonate the superhero Spider-Man. He took the civilian identity of Brandon Kay and began dating a human girl, Zhang Lee.

(Spider-Woman IV#7 (fb) - BTS) - One day he revealed his superhero identity to Lee, showing her he could stick to walls. Lee, however, failed to realize Spider-Man famously lives in New York.

(Spider-Woman IV#7 (fb) - BTS) - The Skrull would regularly meet with Koru Kaviti, a fellow Skrull spy who was fourth-in-command under Queen Veranke. The two were regulars in a bar in the 14th District.

(Spider-Woman IV#7 (fb) - BTS) - The Skrull gave a substantial amount of money to his girlfriend in case something would happen.

(Spider-Woman IV#1 - BTS) - Under unrevealed circumstances, the Skrull learned S.W.O.R.D., a counter terrorism and intelligence agency dealing with extraterrestrial threats, had sent Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) to Madripoor to hunt down Skrulls. He found out at what hotel she was staying and decided to try to convince her to leave the country.

(Spider-Woman IV#1) - Disguised as Spider-Man he came crashing through the windows of Drew's hotel room, in an attempt to convince her S.W.O.R.D. had been infiltrated by alien operatives and the Avengers had come to rescue her. Drew didn't even need to use her alien detector "watch" to realize "Spider-Man's" story was made up and attacked him with her venom blasts. Striking back, "Spider-Man" pushed Drew through the window which sent them flying until they fell on top of a car. Still conscious, Drew kept hitting "Spider-Man" in the head until he died and reverted back to his Skrull-form.

(Spider-Woman IV#7 (fb) - BTS) - Realizing her boyfriend Brandon had gone missing, Zhang Lee contacted the police, asking to speak to the Avengers. Not believing her boyfriend was Spider-Man, the police sent her away.

It's likely "Spider-Man" also knew Pilli Natu, another Skrull spy operating out of Madripoor.

CLARIFICATIONS:
"Spider-Man" has no known connections to

Zhang Lee

Zhang Lee was a normal human girl living in Madripoor where she met and fell in love with Brandon Kay, unbeknownst to her he was a Skrull spy sent during the Secret Invasion. As the two fell in love he "revealed" he was Spider-Man and showed how he could crawl on the walls. Lee failed to realize Spider-Man famously lives in New York. After a while she received a substantial amount of money from her boyfriend in case something would happen after which he disappeared. Lee was unaware her boyfriend had been killed by Spider-Woman and sought out the police and asked to speak to the Avengers but was sent away. After sometime Lee was contacted by Jessica Drew who was looking for leads on Koru Kaviti whereabouts. After gaining enough intel Drew advised the girl to keep the money for herself and buy something nice.

Detective Chong

Detective Chong of the Madripoor Police department was in charge of researching the death of the Skrull Spider-Man and interrogating Jessica Drew. During the interrogation he was curious to hear all about the dead alien and informed Drew he had already contacted Norman Osborn's people, arranging a quiet extradition. Realizing she needed to flee the police department Drew used her pheromone powers to influence Chung into helping her. Feeling as if he loved her he released her but was then shot in the head by Madame Hydra, who'd come to save Drew.

Detective Wang

Detective Wang of the Madripoor Police department was in charge of interrogating Jessica Drew when they recaptured her after her encounter with Madame Hydra. The Madripoor Police department blamed Drew for the death of Detective Chong and two dozens of policemen at the hands of Hydra, Drew had willingly offered herself for arrest so she could tell them about Hydra's whereabouts. But during Wang's interrogation Drew noticed he wasn't really listening but stalling, prompting Drew to activate her pheromone powers to strike fear into his heart. Drew remembered Chong had talked about a quiet extradition and wanted to know who "they" were, however, Wang didn't know. When the other policemen noticed the camera had gone out in the interrogation room they intervened and found Wang crammed up into a corner, scared for his life. Upon Drew's escape she was awaited by "them", the Thunderbolts.
