History:

(Marvel Mangaverse: Ghost Riders#1 (fb) - BTS) - Hellstorm and his sister Satana spent many lazy Summers in their father's home dimension of Ethereal Realm, idling down by the lake of fire, impaling lesser demons, eating hearts and drinking blood.

(Marvel Mangaverse: Ghost Riders#1 (fb) - BTS) - In spite of all their time together, Satana hated her brother and asked her father's blessing to kill him. Once she received permission she gathered a large army of demons.

(Marvel Mangaverse: Ghost Riders#1) - Satana opened a portal to Earth, bringing her demons to terrorize the citizens of New York in an attempt to draw out her brother. This coincided with another incident involving a towering Hulk who was already causing havoc in the city. Hellstorm, who'd just revealed to the Ghost Rider they were actually brothers, attacked Satana's forces until he faced the giant demoness herself. Unimpressed by her two siblings, Satana destroyed Ghost Rider's motorcycle with one of her fireballs and stomped Hellstorm with her feet. With her brother seemingly defeated, Satana turned her attention to Ghost Rider who then decided to finally help his alleged brother. Figuring he had no way of stopping the giant female demon, he threw Hellstorm's trident at the much larger Hulk, drawing his attention. The lumbering behemoth made his way over to Satana, who tried to fight him off by punching him in the face. Unimpressed, Hulk beat Satana to the ground and finally threw her back in the portal she came from, ending her reign of terror.

Comments: Created by Chuck Austen (writer, pencils, inks), Brian Smith (writer).

Due to the Asian specific nature of the Mangaverse reality, it goes without saying that while characters might look similar to their 616 counterparts, they most likely will have distinctly different names, codenames or powers. Therefore we will only list the names when they have been used in the comics.

In the Marvel Mangaverse the Ethereal Realm was the place where all gods, demons and monsters originated from. Just like their 616 counterparts, Satana and Hellstorm's father is Satan, not Mephisto, who in the Mangaverse was the ruler of one of the twelve original livebearing world's of the reality as revealed in Marvel Mangaverse#1 by Uatu the Watcher.
