History:
(Howard the Duck I#5 (fb) - BTS) - Gonzo the Clown was the presenter of the Kiddie Kartoon Korner for over ten years. One of the recurring characters on the show was Dopey Duck, a little person in a duck costume whose job was to be humiliated by Gonzo.
(Howard the Duck I#5) - Due to a misunderstanding, Howard the Duck found himself in Gonzo's studio during the taping of one episode, mistaken for the latest actor to play Dopey Duck. Gonzo hit him with a pie, causing Howard to retaliate by repeatedly punching Gonzo, giving him a nosebleed. His director, "Fuzzy," pulled Howard off, to the displeasure of the children in the audience, who were delighted to see Gonzo beaten and responded by pelting the stage with rubbish. Gonzo and "Fuzzy" fled the stage.

Gonzo was, of course, a reference to the Bozo the Clown franchise.
While it was difficult to determine Gonzo's eye color based on the small amount of appearances and the white of his clown makeup, it looks as if they might be a very light blue. I chose to list his hair as red because well, it's the only hair we saw in his one appearance. It's likely the red hair was merely an orange wig to go with Gonzo's clown outfit but there is the possibility that it could be his real hair as well. His height/weight is an approximation based on his physical stats in relation to Howard the Duck's. --Proto-Man

CLARIFICATIONS:
Gonzo the Clown has no known connections to
"Fuzzy," nicknamed as such by Howard the Duck due to his bushy beard, mistook Howard the Duck for the latest actor to play Dopey Duck and ushered Howard onto Gonzo's stage, confiscating his cigar so as not to set a bad example for the audience. When Howard attacked Gonzo, "Fuzzy" separated the pair and attempted to keep Howard "in-character," only to be driven from the stage as the audience pelted him with rubbish.
