Powers/Abilities/Functions: Durante's was a typical Italian restaurant.

History: (Avengers VI#1.MU (fb) - BTS) - The Controller took Durante's restaurant in Boston, Massachusetts as a base of operations. A reorganizing Maggia criminal organization later decided to have a meeting of all the crime families at Durante's, an event criminal informant Jimmy Dee heard and informed Spider-Man about.

(Avengers VI#1.MU) - Based on the tip from Jimmy Dee, the Avengers investigated Durante's and when they interrupted the dinner, several Maggia goons pulled out guns. Figuring they could make quick work of the Maggia goons, the Avengers were soon halted by Control-Discs thrown at them by the Controller, who admitted he wasn't sure how the Avengers had found him but proclaimed that it didn't matter, as his Control-Discs now gave him a veritable army of controlled Maggia goons. Ordering his army, which included some mind-controlled Avengers as well, to destroy the Avengers, Controller basked in his perceived victory until Spider-Man freed some of the mind-controlled Avengers and the team made short work of both the Controller and his mind-controlled Maggia goons, practically destroying Durante's restaurant in the process. The Avengers were then called outside the restaurant by loud booming sounds and found Boston invaded by giant monsters.
