Powers/Abilities: Anthony was an exceptional
hand-to-hand combatant and trained several others in his fighting
methods. Once turned into a vampire, he had the standard abilities of a
vampire with enhanced strength, speed, healing and durability. But he
also needed human blood to survive and was prone to vampire weaknesses
including sunlight and decapitation. Anthony could infect others with
vampirism by biting them. He wore an early model of Iron Man armor to
protect him against sunlight. This armor had jet boots for flight, an
automatic force field against bullets, sensors, and palm-mounted
repulsor rays.

History:
(Ultimate Avengers I#16 (fb)) - Anthony was considered the greatest vampire hunter of his world. Agile and fit, he trained others to carry on his work, including the vampire-human hybrid Blade, plus Stick, Shaft and Stone, as well as Matt Murdock when he started out as the original Daredevil. Anthony trained his acolytes for the anticipated war between dark forces and good
(Ultimate Avengers I#18 (fb) - BTS) - Anthony killed
hundreds of vampires in his time as a vampire hunter.
(Ultimate Avengers I#16 (fb)) - Anthony was ambushed
and bitten by a vampire. Before he turned, he killed the vampire, but
his
mind switched quickly to self-preservation and building an army of
vampires that would incorporate super-humans to enslave normal humans into
farmed food.
(Ultimate Avengers I#13 (fb) - BTS) - He stole an
early Iron Man suit to protect him from daylight and soon commanded all
the vampire clans.
(Ultimate Avengers I#13) - Barely a month since
turning, Anthony ordered three females to seduce and weaken Blade, now
fully active slaying vampires, before sending in vampire thugs to bully
him into a truce. Nearby, from inside his armor, Anthony observed Blade
instead destroy the vampires.
(Ultimate
Avengers I#14 (fb)) - Anthony had minions watch the S.H.I.E.L.D. base,
the Triskelion, for potential super-human victims. The belligerent "Nerd" Hulk (a clone of Bruce
Banner) jumped in nearby. Anthony jetted in his armor and blasted Nerd
Hulk down. Briefly unconscious, Nerd Hulk was bitten by Anthony,
turning him soon into a vampire too.
(Ultimate Avengers I#14) - Twenty-four hours later,
Nerd Hulk had bitten Stick and a new Daredevil (the teenager Raymond
Connor), and took them to Anthony's hideaway in the sewers. But a
subdermal tracker let Nick Fury follow the missing Nerd Hulk and he
took S.H.I.E.L.D. troopers plus Captain America, Hawkeye and Black
Widow (Monica Chang) to investigate. Daredevil (Connor) duped the
super-heroes into getting close and he bit Captain America in the sewers
as Anthony and his followers revealed themselves.
(Ultimate Avengers I#15) - Anthony mesmerized the
super-heroes to surrender, but new S.H.I.E.L.D. troops arrived,
breaking Anthony's hold, and the vampires were forced to retreat.
Anthony held back on lethal retaliation as he wanted the super-humans
to become vampires. Later, at night, Anthony ripped out Nerd Hulk's
tracker, chiding the clone in front of others for his foolishness. Anthony overheard Nerd
Hulk's defiant talk with Daredevil and expected a power struggle.
(Ultimate Avengers I#16) - Back at the Triskelion,
Blade updated Nick Fury on Anthony's history and a plan was made to
track the old armor. Meanwhile, Anthony's vampires fed in Soho, and he
spoke of the instinctive and basic nature of vampires. Nerd Hulk made
his leadership challenge and decapitated the helmeted Anthony with one
powerful punch. Nerd Hulk then ordered Anthony's body be burned. Nerd
Hulk then commanded Stick wear the armor for the impending battle with
S.H.I.E.L.D.

Anthony was referred to as "Vampire X" in the summary recap page of Ultimate Avengers I#15, but I consider it an abstract title and not one he identified with.
This was a romp of a 6-issue storyline. But a bit of a red herring having a character called Anthony inside the Iron Man suit (which was created by Tony (or Anthony) Stark). It's almost as if this was meant to be a What If...? story, but jammed into an Ultimate title with replacement characters that could be killed off.
While the indicia state Ultimate Avengers #13-16, the covers labeled the issues as Ultimate Avengers 3 #1-6.
