History

(Avengers I#98 (fb) – BTS) – After interviewing Wo Tong, reporter Les Bancroft turned the camera over to Ralph Willard on the New York City streets. While the camera focused on the violent pro-war protest of the Warhawks, Ralph Willard’s voice reported to television audiences the violence that ensued when the police tried to break up the protesting Warhawks. Just as the Warhawks jumped into battle against the police, Ralph’s voice was cut off but the television station cutting away from the violence.

Ralph Willard was never actually seen on panel. His voice came from a television set that aired only the riots in the streets...
