History:
(Avengers
I#98) – After the Warhawks' pro-war
demonstration, reporter Les Bancroft interviewed Wo Tong about the
demonstration's negative impact on peace talks with the USA. Mr. Tong
commented that he feared the demonstration would have a much more
negative
impact than anyone realized. He then revealed that the Chinese leaders
were
watching the demonstration via satellite and feared that the
demonstration
would only escalate fears, possibly to the nuclear level.
