History:
(Warlock and the Infinity Watch#14 (fb) - BTS) - Man-Beast, secretly impersonating U.S. Senator Kyle Munson, orchestrated an invasion of Monster Isle by the United Nations Peace Keeping Force, installing U.S. Marine Captain Sylvester Hammer to organize the attack and detain "all island residents."
(Warlock and the Infinity Watch#14) - Captain Hammer led the armed landing party, which included many soldiers and several tanks. Although the Infinity Watch debated a suitable response, Gamora left solo to confront the troops' leader. Gamora politely tried to negotiate with Hammer, but he dismissed her and when he ordered she be cuffed and gagged, she demolished the entire landing party in eight minutes. The troops later recovered and retreated.
(Warlock and the Infinity Watch#22) - With the Infinity Watch absent, Hammer landed his U.N. troops again on the same beach, confident he could secure it and armed with S.H.I.E.L.D. weaponry. He reported to the Munson imposter that he had claimed the island, but was later confronted by Mole Man. When Hammer ordered that he be cuffed and gagged, Mole Man ordered one of his pet behemoths rise up from the sand and destroy the weaponry while Moloids overcame and beat the troops; Mole Man personally dispatched Captain Hammer. Mole Man then sent the assault troops, stripped down to their shorts, humiliated back to their ship.
