Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Drakion Destructoid
was a robot of immense size and strength,
sufficient enough to punch through a metal wall; however, it could be
felled
with a
laser blast through the chest.
History:
(Fantastic
Four I#389) - When the
Collector showed up within Four Freedoms Plaza in an attempt to collect
the egg
laid by the Skrull Lyja, he
unleashed the Drakion Destructoid
to keep the Human Torch and Lyja
busy while he
retrieved the egg. Lyja
soon found herself
unable to manifest her "Lazerfist"
abilities but she
was still able to shapeshift.
Shapeshifting
into an alien beast, Lyja
attacked the Drakion Destructoid along with
the Human Torch while the Collector analyzed the egg. Eventually,
Raphael
Suarez, who had recently gained Lyja's "Lazerfist" abilities,
arrived and blasted the Drakion
Destructoid through the
chest, destroying it. The Collector soon left, claiming he had no
interest in
fake objects, at which point Lyja
revealed to the
Human Torch that he was not the father of the egg.
