sophisticated decontamination chair.
History:

I#89 (fb) – BTS) – Dr. Donaldson worked with
Dr. Henry Pym.
(Avengers
I#89) – After Captain
Marvel became exposed to excessive radiation from the Negative Zone and
fled
the scene of a battle with Annihilus, the Avengers went after him to
save his
life. Tracking him to Miami, the Avengers knocked out Mar-Vell and took
him to
Cape Kennedy Hospital, where they had Dr. Donaldson prepare a
decontamination
chair for Mar-Vell. As Rick Jones recounted the events that had led up
to that,
Dr. Donaldson commented that while the decontamination chair had
removed some
of the radiation from Mar-Vell, there was still a small amount that
would
continue to build until Mar-Vell would once again be in danger.
Determining
that the decontamination chair would need more power to successfully
remove all
of the radiation from Mar-Vell, Dr. Donaldson agreed with Vision that
solar
power would help. Using his solar battery to power the decontamination
chair,
Vision powered the chair up enough to successfully drain the radiation
from
Mar-Vell. Dr. Donaldson then told the Avengers that both Vision and
Mar-Vell
would survive and almost immediately thereafter, the Kree Sentry #459
burst into
Cape Kennedy Hospital attempting to kill Captain Mar-Vell and all who
protected
him.
(Avengers
I#90) – Sentry
#459 revealed its intentions to kill Mar-Vell, but Dr. Donaldson pled
with the Sentry
not to move the recovering Mar-Vell. Despite the Avengers battling to
rescue
Mar-Vell, Sentry #459 grabbed Mar-Vell and teleported away.
With no way to track
something that simply vanished, the Avengers and Dr. Donaldson remained
at Cape
Kennedy to report the events with Cape Kennedy’s security
chief, Carol Danvers.
