(Alpha Flight I#5/2 (fb) - BTS) - Katheryn married Dr. Michael Twoyoungmen and they had a daughter, Elizabeth.

(Alpha Flight I#5/2) - Having become sick, Katheryn Twoyoungmen visited Dr. Max Bassaraba at Chinook Centre Medical Building to learn what was wrong. After taking a few tests, Dr. Bassaraba asked Katheryn to be admitted into the hospital for a few days for testing and observation. Dr. Michael Twoyoungmen soon arrived and Dr. Bassaraba left to break the news to Michael that Katheryn was going to die. Michael proclaimed that he would do everything he could to save his wife and then entered the room, much to the surprise of Katheryn. Unfortunately, not long after, Katheryn passed away with Michael and Elizabeth by her side. Blaming her father for not doing enough to save her, Elizabeth angrily ran from the room but was stopped by Claire McNeil outside.

(Alpha Flight I#34) - Dr. Michael Twoyoungmen told the spirit of his grandfather that he continued to feel guilt over his wife's passing.

Dr. Max Bassaraba was a doctor and friend of the Twoyoungmens. He worked at the Chinook Centre Medical Building and diagnosed Katheryn. When Michael Twoyoungmen arrived at the hospital, Dr. Bassaraba had to tell Michael that Katheryn was going to die. Michael proclaimed that he would do everything he could to save his wife and Dr. Bassaraba tried to remind Michael that, as a doctor, he was not allowed to treat his own family.
