As with other Rhunians, normal Terran humans were minuscule in size relative to him and he was very long-lived compared to humans. He believed that his people were on the only life in the universe.

History:

(Thor I#220 (fb) - BTS) - Kragonn was born a noble of Rhun of the Black Stars, five extremely massive planets orbiting one sun. He eventually rose to the rank of leader, and let the conniving scientist Dracus live only so long as it served his purpose. As with his predecessors, he saw his role to harvest space debris (actually crumbling planets) for fuel for the the five planets.

(Thor I#219) - Thor and his comrades encountered Avalon and his Caretaker race, who had been designed to maintain the scoops that gathered space debris. The scoop carrying the rebellious Avalon and Thor snaked toward Kragonn.

(Thor I#220) - Shocked at the size difference, Thor nevertheless flew against Avalon's oppressors, smashing his mallet on the skin of Kragonn, only to be swatted away like a flea but rejoined with his comrades. Disturbed by this strange rebellion of the tiny (relatively speaking) helpers, Kragonn ordered the scoop be winched back to its berth, then handed the holding capsule to Dracus for him to investigate further. Impatient, Kragonn later stormed into Dracus' lab demanding to know more, but was skeptical of the potential origins of the Caretakers' new allies, yet recognized that it had been thousands of years since there had been communication with the other worlds of the Black Stars. Wary that they were hostile, Kragonn ordered that they be eliminated. Aware of the lethal danger, the Caretakers plus Thor and his crew flew up at Kragonn, who ordered that Dracus help stop them. However, Dracus was temporarily paralyzed by Thor's ally, Jukka, who then spoke to Kragonn through an amplified image and voice. Kragonn then went with Dracus in a small spaceship, accompanied by Thor and his allies in a tiny spaceship within the cabin, and found that the neighboring planets had decayed into lifeless worlds. Despite Dracus' urgings to destroy them, Kragonn gave the Caretakers their freedom, but asked that the people of the Black Stars be remembered by them as newly enlightened.

Kragonn's role as ruler was for one "klarn" (10 Earth years), although it's not known how the Rhunians determined who would be the next leader.
