History:

(Spidey Super Stories #18/2)- Eye Patch began his day of villainy by using his eye evil to force an unnamed girl to dump her ice cream cone on her head, as that was the action she least wanted to do. Seeing a hot dog vendor under siege by a group of dogs, Eye Patch blasted the man with his eye, forcing him to give his hot dogs to the animals. Next, he targeted Rita as she finished her latest painting. Zapping her fully, Eye Patch laughed as Rita was forced to add a handlebar mustache to her copy of the Mona Lisa.

Spider-Man followed Eye Patch’s trail as the pirate made his way past Joe’s Pizza, as evidenced by the unnamed employee staggering into the street wearing raw dough on his head. When Spider-Man finally confronted Eye Patch, the villain unleashed the full force of his power against the wall crawler, making him dance a variation of the ‘Funky Chicken’. In Spider-Man’s fit, the hero struck Eye Patch in the face, blacking his eye and canceling out his power. With the curse lifted and everyone going back to their original tasks, Eye Patch walked off arm in arm with Spider-Man, swearing to be nothing more than a peaceful pirate.
