(Daredevil King-Size Special#1 (fb) - BTS) - Seeking revenge on Daredevil, Electro contacted four of Daredevil's most dangerous foes, inviting them to join together as the Emissaries of Evil. He successfully recruited Stilt-Man and Leap-Frog, and then established contact with Matador and Gladiator. Electro established his headquarters in one of the city's power plants.
(Daredevil King-Size Special#1) - As Electro met with Matador, Daredevil attacked them, but Electro waylaid him with an electric blast and the duo fled. Electro instructed the five men to wait in five different parts of the city for Daredevil to show up. Daredevil fought off Matador first, then Stilt-Man, and Leap-Frog in Central Park. Though all of the villains were defeated, they managed to return to Electro at his headquarters. When Daredevil arrived, all of the villains tag-teamed him. Daredevil successfully fought off all five villains, leaving them tied up in an electric wire with the other end in a transformer so that they couldn't cut free. He left them for the police.
