(Tomb of Terror II#1/2 (fb)) - Erik Delano's father, Michael, was an astronaut taken by an other otherworldly creature, which took Michael's voice and told him to murder babies across four states. It told Erik that Hellstrom (Son of Satan) was coming and who he was.

(Tomb of Terror II#1/2) - Hellstrom arrived at the caravan park and confronted Erik about what he had done. Erik protested that he was only obeying the voice of his dead father. Although accused of having his father's voice talking to him too, the Son of Satan refused and believed that he had a choice. Hellstrom took away Erik's shotgun and he was soon arrested by the local police for his crimes.

CLARIFICATIONS :
Erik Delano has no known connections to:

Astraios

Named after the Greek god of stars and planets, the Astraios space missions followed the Apollo missions, but focused more on spacewalks and science. The crews dubbed it instead Epimetheus (god of afterthought). Astraios VI was commanded by Michael Delano, but an extraterrestrial/extradimensional/demonic creature secreted itself aboard the capsule as it went into re-entry, disfiguring two of the astronauts and taking Michael away. The creature took on Michael's voice and spoke to his son, Erik, telling him to commit acts of bloody violence.
