    Adapted into Reality-616 by Alan Zelenetz and Mark Bright.

    The characters from Thor I#335 and Silver Surfer III#12 are not identified as Achernonians. However, they possess the complexion, build, stereotypical facial hair, and, most notably, the antennae over the brow that identifies them as Achernonians. Only the relevant writers and/or artists could say for sure.

    Michel Gariepy pointed out the apparently missing appearances from Silver Surfer#20 & 25. I say "apparently" because:

CLARIFICATIONS:
The Achernonians have no known connections to:

Reptyl's crewman

(Silver Surfer III#12) - An unidentified Achernonian served amongst Reptyl's crew, noting to Reptyl their confrontation with Nova (Frankie Raye) and the use of the captured Silver Surfer (Norrin Radd)'s power against her. When Nova threatened to overwhelm them, Reptyl ordered the Achernonian to jettison the Surfer (though the Achernonian feared losing the power the Surfer granted their ship) to distract Nova so they could escape. Following their escape, the Achernonian was appalled/nauseated when Reptyl consumed their ally, the Contemplator imposter.

<possible appearances - see comments>

(Silver Surfer III#20) - Due to breaches of security at his base in the Coalsack nebula by the Silver Surfer and Nova and later by Eros and Firelord, Captain Reptyl placed Clumsy Foulup in charge along with all his humanoid/mammal crew (including the murine Skyrot and apparently the Achernonian) with protecting a small frozen planetoid housing a large cache of weapons and would be summoned at a later date when needed. Skyrot and other chafed at taking orders from Clumsy, but knew Reptyl would devour them if they crossed him.

(Silver Surfer III#25)- The Achernonian crew member was amongst those ordered by Clumsy Foulup to act as his personal transport and carry him above their heads. When the crewmen later began to question their ill treatment, Clumsy began to reiterate his authority, and the Achernonian told Clumsy Foulup to shut up. Angered by his rude outburst Clumsy drew a blaster from his belt and shot the Achernonian at close range, apparently killing him. Clumsy reaffirmed his threat, "Don't anybody waste your breath! You mess with me, you mess with death!"

Runestaff holder

Obtaining the powerful alien and mystic Runestaff under unspecified circumstances...

(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition#10: Possessor entry) - He devoted a great deal of time and effort mastering the Runestaff's properties.

(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition#10: Possessor entry) - As one of the research assistants at the scholarly master library of the planet Rus, the Achernonian brought the Runestaff before the Master Scholar, Kamo Tharnn.

(Thor I#335 (fb)) <Tharnn's autobiography> - Believing he possessed all knowledge, Tharnn was astonished to learn of the Runestaff, the powers of which lay beyond his grasp.

(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition#10: Possessor entry) - Excited by such a find, Tharnn asked to examine the Runestaff to record its properties for the master computer personally. Not wanting Tharnn to take credit for its discovery, the Achenonian refused Tharnn.

(Thor I#335 (fb) / Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition#10: Possessor entry) <Tharnn's autobiography> - So zealous was Tharnn's quest for omniscience that he could not control himself and apparently slew the Achernonian when he refused to yield the Runestaff to Tharnn's "urgent pleas for knowledge." With the Runestaff's master slain, Tharnn had no one to explain the Runestaff's mysterious physical and mystical properties.
