History:

(Daredevil II#20) - While driving, Ted Wertz was shocked when Daredevil threw a bank robber at his car, breaking the windshield. While Daredevil rushed off, Wertz wondered who would pay for his car.

(Daredevil II#22 (fb) - BTS) - While watching TV, Wertz’s wife saw that Daredevil was being sued for damages. Various law firms sought to represent Daredevil, such as that of Claude Unger and the firm of Hutchinson and Macnamara.

(Daredevil II#22) - Wertz was shown into the law offices of Matt Murdock and Franklin “Foggy” Nelson by their secretary, Angela Barbato. They told him they would look into his case and encouraged him not to speak to the media. Wertz later got his settlement.
