Powers/Abilities: Claude is a brilliant lawyer, ruthless and ambitious, and hadn't lost a trial before going to court with the Braxton vs. Rosen case, where he lost to Matt Murdock

History: (bts) According to a tv-reporter, Claude Unger appeared on the scene a year ago like a hurricane, and has yet to lose a case

(Daredevil II#20) - Claude is interviewed on TV about the trial "Braxton vs. Rosen". Claims that the firing of Lloyd Braxton was nothing more than a racist act. Later outside the court, Claude Unger talks to the press, saying that no one should be fired because of their race. Matt Murdock arrives and tells the press that Braxton wasn't fired because of racism, but because of on-line gambling on company time. The two lawyers go into the courtroom to hear the verdict, and the jury finds the defendant Benjamin Rosen not guilty of the charges brought against him, so Claude Unger loses his first trial.

Afterwards, Claude talks with the press, telling them that sure he lost, but that was only because his client lied to him, so he didn't really consider this a loss. He congratulates Murdock in front of the press, and tells him that he would like a word in private with him. In private, Claude asks Matt how he found out about the gambling, and accuses Murdock of paying someone off in Claude's staff. Matt tells him that he doesn't do his business that way, but Unger is still not convinced and tells him that if he finds out Matt payed someone off in his office, he will make him regret it.

(Daredevil II#22) - Appears on TV in a commercial, asking Daredevil if he needs his assistance as a lawyer, and says he won't charge him anything. Later appears on "News Talk" in a debate against famous newspaper publisher J. Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle, where Claude Unger stands on the side of the superheroes while Jameson (as usually) stands against the superheroes.

(Daredevil II#25) - Claude is interviewed by a tv-reporter, who uses him as an expert on trials because of the ongoing trial Griggs vs. Daredevil.
