Powers/Abilities/Functions: When ingested, the Transparency Capsule could render a person transparent for sixty seconds.

 

 

 

History:
(Strange Tales I#156/1) - Agent Jasper Sitwell was displaying a trio of ultra-devices created by S.H.I.E.L.D. technos to Dum-Dum Dugan and Gabe Jones. After demonstrating the Spy-Ray Lens and an Incendiary Disc, he swallowed a Transparency Capsule and faded away.

(Strange Tales I#157/1) - While on Hydra Island, Nick Fury was captured and sentanced to be executed, but he swallowed a Transparency Capsule, turned invisible, and tricked Hydra into releasing him.

 

 

 

 

 

Comments: Created by Jim Steranko (writer and artist).

The exact nature of the Transparency Capsule is unknown -- possibly it was a digestible electronic device and may have been developed by the same technician who built the Tri-di-roentgen hand-gun.
