History:
(Spectacular Spider-Man II#213 (fb) - BTS) - The wealthy Jack Morray secretly murdered two women, one by strangling and another by shooting, and was never convicted.
(Spectacular Spider-Man II#213) - While sitting in his penthouse, Jack was shocked when a bullet hit his TV, but he didn't know where it had come from.
(Spectacular Spider-Man II#214) - Morray saw a pretty woman faint in front of his penthouse. Learning her name was Mary, Morray invited her upstairs and bragged about his money and success while she changed in the bathroom. When he saw her in makeup and leather, he grabbed her, promising her the hurt he knew she wanted. Mary telekinetically clothed herself in metal and promised to kill Morray just as Spider-Man attacked. Spider-Man webbed Morray up, promising to turn him over to the police. As Mary and Spider-Man battled, Morray got a gun and tried to kill himself, but the webbing stopped the bullet. He was later turned over to the police.
