(Dr. Strange III#73) - A Serpentine race who dwell in the Dark Dimension, the Mori have provided sanctuary for every treaty in the Dark Dimension's history, transmitting, when needed, the results of the meeting to every sentient being that it affects. When Dormammu and Clea, both former rulers of the Dark Dimension, sought to ally in order to end the War of the Seven Spheres that had addled the Dark Dimension for months, the Mori set up a magic-dampening field in the battle scarred Sarebbe Wastelands. Clea (her magic dampened by the field) led her followers, including Nobel, into the field where the treaty had been prepared. The Mori greeted them and instructed them to set their weapons aside. Soon Dormammu arrived and he treated the Mori with contempt, silencing them when he tried to greet them. In the field, he looked like a burnt corpse, and his army, including Commander Wade, entered with him. The dome, called an Ovoid, was sealed, and treaty was initiated. Things went well until Clea called Dormammu partner, causing Dormammu, infuriated, to rip out Wade's spine and kill Nobel with it. Battle erupted and the Mori concluded the negotiations, fading the ovoid and departing.
