History:
(Civil War: Front Line#1/1 (fb) - BTS) - John Fernandez was a successful reporter during war-torn events during four tours of Bosnia, three in Afghanistan, and several more with CNN in Baghdad, Iraq. When he got a job with the New Warriors Reality TV show, he was thrilled. He told Robbie Robertson about it, considering the biggest thing that had happened in his career.
(Civil War#1/Civil War: Front Line#1 (fb) ) - Fernandez followed with a video camera the New Warriors into Stamford, Connecticut, when they tried apprehending villains Cobalt Man, Speedfreek, Nitro, and Coldheart. Nitro exploded and killed hundreds, including Fernandez.
(Civil War: Front Line#1/1) - Robbie Robertson offered the eulogy at Fernandez' funeral. In attendance were Ben Urich, Sally Floyd, and others. They all held a party at a local bar afterwards, wearing party hats as Fernandez would have wanted.
