Powers/Abilities: Once summoned through a mystical ritual, the "Demon Baby" can possess the bodies of mortals, granting them super human strength, agility, and endurance, as well as the power to fire green energy from their eyes. Once the body has undergone a certain amount of stress, the "Demon Baby" is vomited up, where it immediately seeks out its next victim. The "Demon Baby" has been known to cause feelings of violence as it influences its victims to commit murder.
History:
(Daredevil II#75 (fb) - BTS) - Lawrence, a man who practiced ancient ritualistic rites, summoned a demonic baby to give the Jester (Jonathan Powers) a power boost. The baby took possession of Jester, significantly increasing his strength.
(Daredevil II#74 (fb) - BTS) - Jester attacked a bank in broad daylight, taking many hostage.
(Daredevil II#75 (fb)) - Daredevil (Matt Murdock) attacked the bank and traded blows with the Jester, who was soon overcome with pain and vomited up the baby. The demon crawled at a teenaged girl, daughter of a local woman named Lynn, horrifying her, but it crawled away when Daredevil punched it aside.
(Daredevil II#75 (fb) - BTS) - Seeking to find its way back to Lawrence, the baby possessed various people across the city, inspiring them to violence.
(Daredevil II#73 (fb) - BTS) - The demon baby possessed a man, husband of a local woman named Jennifer Norton, and inspired him to commit dozens of murders.
(Daredevil II#73 (fb)) - One night Jennifer took down dinner to her husband and saw a demonic baby whispering in his ear. She was horrified and pushed the memory away.
(Daredevil II#73 (fb)) - As the man prepared to kill a woman named Doris, Daredevil stopped him and attacked. The man flashed glowing energy from his eyes and leapt away with superior strength and agility, but Daredevil still managed to apprehend him.
(Daredevil II#75 (fb) - BTS) - The baby finally found its way back to Lawrence and possessed him. Lawrence, seeking to get power over it, went to a support group at a local church only to find the meeting attended by Lynn, Jennifer, Doris, and others, such as Archie Meyers and Bob Cumeo. The baby slowly gained influence over Lawrence as the people shared their stories.
(Daredevil II#71-74 - BTS) - The demon began to assert control over Lawrence, causing him to become arrogant and accosting.
(Daredevil II#75) - Daredevil was exposed at the meeting, causing Lawrence to run for it. He retrieved a gun and a sword and, when Daredevil approached, he began vomiting up the baby. Lawrence blew his own head off, however, killing himself and the baby in a subway tunnel.
