Powers/Abilities: Antlar is a large insect-like monster with proportionate strength.

History:

(Fantastic Four I#347) - When a group of Skrulls landed on Monster Island in search of the renegade De'Lila, they shot several of the monsters, including Antlar, with "slave darts" before teleporting them across the globe to rampage.

(Fantastic Four I#348-349) - Antlar presumably rampaged in whichever city he was deposited in before returning to Monster Island. The Skrulls' hold over the creatures was then terminated.

Comments: Created by Walter Simonson, Arthur Adams and Art Thibert.

Japanese kaiju fans will recognize Antlar as an alien foe of the Ultraman from the 1960s television show by the same name. Art Adams included him and Miclas in this great arc because he was a fan. Whether or not this Antlar has any of the origins of the television version (which is definitely not Earth-616) is unrevealed.
