History:

(Fantastic Four I#347) - When a group of Skrulls landed on Monster Island in search of the renegade De'Lila, they immediately observed a fight between Miclas and Vandoom's Monster. They quickly hurried back to their spacecraft. The Skrulls injected both monsters and many other residents of Monster Island with "slave darts," set their personalities to maximum ferocity and teleported them to various points across the globe, in homes of drawing out De'Lila.

(Fantastic Four I#348-349) - Miclas presumably rampaged in whichever city he was deposited in before returning to Monster Island. The Skrulls' hold over the creatures was then terminated.

Comments: Created by Walter Simonson, Arthur Adams and Art Thibert.

If you think this guy seems familiar, you may be right. Miclas is actually a monster used in the old Japanese show Ultra Seven, in which he was a "capsule monster" (monsters kept in capsules by the titular hero until he released them to battle his foes). Art Adams, a fan of the Japanese kaiju movies and television shows,  threw him into the comic as an in-joke. The television version of Miclas hails from the planet Buffalo. Whether this Miclas does, or if he has any of the abilties the "real" Miclas does, is unrevealed.
