History: (Marvel Super-Heroes III#2/2 (fb) - BTS) - Ken was built by Machinesmith for Mystique, which cost a lot of money. She planned to give Rogue somebody she could touch and they same person would bring Rogue back to Mystique.

(Marvel Super-Heroes III#2/2) - Ken left Mystique's van and followed Rogue into a park and wished her a good morning while passing her. A short time later Rogue found him beaten up on the way and tried to help him. When Ken touched her nothing happened and she thought that her powers were finally under control. After some talking Ken borrowed a quarter to call his sister (Mystique's disguise), who soon arrived with her van to bring Ken home to their HQ. Mystique wasn't pleased that Ken let himself get hurt and examined his head to make sure that he wasn't damaged. Afterwards she explained her plan again to Ken. The next day Ken and Rogue went jogging, had a coffee and in the evening they ended their day together with a kiss. Mystique picked up Ken again and Rogue wondered why Ken didn't introduce her to his sister. Back in the warehouse Ken told Mystique that he didn't want Rogue to get hurt because he loved her. Mystique didn't believe him, but Ken told her that he was created to feel and pulled out a gun. Rogue overheard their conversation and crashed through the wall. She tossed the van after Mystique, but it hit Ken. The robot was severely damaged and shortly after admitting his love to Rogue, the robot's systems stopped working.
