History:
(Night Nurse#1 (fb) - BTS) - Georgia grew up in a crumbling urban neighborhood a few blocks away from Metro General. She wanted to be a nurse there more than anything in the world.

(Night Nurse#1 (fb)) - When the day came to leave for Metro General, Georgia left home, though she was scared because it was a whole new world to her. Her mom and younger siblings wished her luck, and her mom told her to come back and be the best nurse the neighborhood would ever see.

(Night Nurse#1 (fb)) - Georgia became roommates with two other student nurses, Linda Carter and Christine Palmer. The young women were initially highly judgmental and even semi-hostile to one another--a result of their different backgrounds.

(Night Nurse#1 (fb)) - Georgia and her roommates were called to work on an emergency involving children who had been burnt. When they each realized that they valued their work and missed their families, they found common ground, and they were soon fast friends. They shared pizzas as well as fear of their supervisor, the size ten-shoed Miss Brundage. Georgia teased Linda when she fell for Marshal Michaels, and she remarked how happy Christine was when she had a reunion with her father.
When she had the rare day off, she returned to her old neighborhood, where she worked to stop violence, to discourage bad behavior in those with potential--such as Josh Henry, and to care for those who needed help--like the elderly Mr. and Mrs. Toby. Though she sometimes left more exhausted than when she had arrived, Georgia loved helping the old neighborhood, though she worried about her older brother, Ben, who had been missing for some time.
Back at work, she cared for Mr. Toby who came to the hospital after falling down the stairs in a "brownout", (city-directed focal power outages to conserve energy). Meanwhile, she was reunited with Ben, who had become furious at the brownouts in their neighborhood and had teamed up with Rocky, intending to use the threat of bombing the hospital's generator to force the government to return power to them. Their dressing as orderlies initially fooled Georgia, but when she learned about a real blackout she suspected what Ben and Rocky were really doing. Confronting them alongside Linda, Georgia was able to convince Ben to turn against Rocky, who had shot and killed a guard and was secretly taking money from unknown parties to blow up the generator. Rocky shot Ben, and while Georgia rushed forward to control his bleeding, Linda tripped the fleeing Rocky just as the police arrived. Ben was rushed to surgery and saved, though he had to go to trial for his actions. Christine promised that her father would get Ben the best lawyer money could buy.

(Night Nurse#1) - Georgia and Christine comforted Linda when she was forced to make the tough choice of staying in nursing school against Marshal's wishes, a choice which cost Linda her boyfriend.

(Night Nurse#2 (fb)) - Georgia, Christine, and Linda graduated from nursing school.

(Night Nurse#2 (fb) - BTS) - Georgia went to her brother's trial, after which she spent some time with her mother.

(Night Nurse#2) - Georgia expressed her frustration that her brother was in such trouble over getting mixed up with Rocky. After congratulating Christine on starting as special assistant to Dr. William Sutton, she headed back to the courthouse to see Ben.

(Night Nurse#3 (fb) - BTS) - Despite the Christmas holiday, Ben Jenkins was sentenced to ten-to-twenty years in the state penitentiary.

(Night Nurse#3) - Georgia expressed her frustration to Linda that Ben was being punished so for a mistake, while Victor Sloan, the "Head of the Rackets", had never seen the inside of a cell. Ironically, the next day, Sloan was brought in to Metro hospital after being shot. Georgia was glad to see this and stated that someone should get a metal for it, and Linda had to pressure her into following her "Nightingale Pledge" to help rush Sloan for a transfusion and surgery. Neither Georgia nor Linda were too happy to see that Miss Brundage had been called in to help out when some other nurses had called in sick.
Georgia later followed the sounds of music to a Christmas party being held in the cafeteria, but Linda found her and informed her that Miss Brundage and the guards standing watch over Sloan had vanished. While Linda went to check on Sloan, Georgia sought help. She returned with Dr. Jack Tryon, who saved both Linda and Sloan from Joe "The Scar" Bronson, though it was Linda who recovered Bronson's gun and held him off until Georgia could return with the police. Afterwards, Georgia sent Linda on her break while she watched over Sloan, changing his dressing as a way of making up for her past behavior. She admitted that as long as she wore her nurse's uniform she could not let her feelings affect her work.

Comments: Created by Jean Thomas and Winslow Mortimer.

Night Nurse lasted four issues, but #4 only had Christine Palmer--who was BTS in #3--in it.

Christine Palmer has since shown up in Nightcrawler, and it is POSSIBLE that Linda Carter (or her predecessor "Linda Carter, Student Nurse") might be the Night Nurse in recent Daredevil issues. I haven't seen Georgia, though.
