History: (Uncanny X-Men#182 (fb) - BTS) - Agent Garwood was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. who served as a double agent for Sebastian Shaw, the Black King of the Hellfire Club. When Michael Rossi infiltrated the Helicarrier in order to obtain S.H.I.E.L.D.'s data on Shaw, Garwood and his partner Price caught Rossi.

(Uncanny X-Men#182) - Garwood left Rossi in the care of Price to be interrogated, then made a secret transmission to Sebastian Shaw, informing him of Rossi's capture. Shaw told Garwood to kill Rossi. Garwood returned to Rossi and shot Price dead, and intended to implicate Rossi, so that Rossi's murder would be justifiable. However, before he could shoot Rossi, Rogue of the X-Men arrived, and she overpowered him, breaking his gun in his hand and knocking him unconscious. She escaped from the Helicarrier with Rossi.

As Garwood recovered from Rogue's beating in the Helicarrier's medical bay, he was visited by Nick Fury and Valentina De Fontaine, and informed them that Rogue had killed Price.

Agent Garwood should not be confused with:

Price was Garwood's partner aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, and gleefully assisted in the interrogation of Michael Rossi, beating him sadistically. Garwood shot and killed Price so that he could frame Rossi for the murder, but wound up framing Rogue instead when she saved Rossi.
