Powers/Abilities: Their senses are very sharpened and acute, enabling them to understand if another living being is in a good health status. They are well-endowed for fighting and for healing.
Traits: They are humanoids covered from fur and have a cat-like face. Their dimensions seems to be the dimensions of a normal human.
History: (Rom Annual#4 (fb)) - The Calurnian were a warlike race whose member fought for power, wealth and also for sport. Their technologic level was not advanced, they lived in burrows and fought using sticks and stones.
They considered themselves advanced in the arts of war, but when the Shi'ar discovered their planet, they could not stop the invasion. They resisted but the Shi'ar were far superior, thanks to its technology.
The Calurnians were enslaved. Thousands of them were taken on other worlds. Some Calurnians took the advantages of the Empire. Some of them were employed in the fields where they fitted better, like healing the others as medics, physicians or surgeons.
The Calurnians remained on Calurnia were forced to change their ways in order to live. They built houses on the surface and became farmers, cultivating the fertile soil. Warlike behaviors were abandoned and members of different tribes lived together.
When their self-proclaimed champion, Liberator, went back on the planet, with the armor and the huge power of a Galadorian Spaceknight, he tried to rise a rebellion from the Empire, but the people had become accustomed to the new life and didn't wanted to risk a repression down them. The Calurnians refused him, not considering him part of their race anymore.
