Powers/Abilities: Ame-no-Mi-Kumari possesses the conventional attributes of the Kami (Gods of Japan) including superhuman strength, invulnerability to harm, longevity and limited experience in the mystical arts. She has the ability to control water and the elements, including summoning lightning bolts and generating floods.
History: (Myth) - Ame-no-Mi-Kumari is the daughter of Minato-no-kami, god of rivers and estuaries, a member of an extradimensional race of beings known as the Kami who were worshipped as gods by the ancient people of modern Japan.
(Ares#5) - Ame-no-Mi-Kumari was deceived along with the other Kami by Inari, the messenger god, who claimed that he had received a gift of water from the gods of Olympus that indicated that their assitance was requested against the demonic armies of Mikaboshi. Ame-no-Mi-Kumari assisted the other Kami in battling Mikaboshi alongside the Olympians, and she returned the gift of water to Neptune, who was able to summon up a flood with it. Mikaboshi was defeated by the combined forces of the gods.
