Powers/Abilities: Zarko can apparently fly via the small wings on its exoskeleton's "skull.". He uses various conventional weapons such as guns, axes and anvils.

History: (OHOTMU89#8) – Upset that he was left out of the last issue of Marvel Comics’ Official Handbook Update ’89 series, Zarko made his way to the office window of editor Terry Kavanagh, prepared to hurt him.

(Marvel Monsters: From the Files of Ulysses Bloodstone (and the Monster Hunters)#1 (fb)-BTS) - At some point, Zarko battled the monster hunter Elsa Bloodstone.

Who would have thought that one of the Marvel Universe's most obscure characters would have made his first and only appearance in an actual issue of the Official Handbook? Obviously an homage to Gary Larson's "The Far Side" comic strip, there is nothing definitive setting this one-panel joke in the Earth-616 continuity (Note: There is NOW! - Madison), but we do know there is a Marvel Comics there, so it could very well have happened that Zarko has some issues with not being recognized as the villain/monster he is.
