Charteris, Radek was assigned to attend to Jolt's physical therapy, helping her to overcome the physical deformities caused when she earlier been slain by Scourge and then resurrected by Techno. Although Jolt was resistent to accept his aid as she could still move normally in her bioelectric form, Radek forced her to continue her physical therapy in order to avoid further muscle atrophy.

(Thunderbolts I#53)- Captain America observed Radek as he saw to Jolt's physical therapy.

(Thunderbolts I#54)- As Captain America prepared to depart the Redeemers, he gave Citizen V a tour of Mt. Charteris while Radek continued to aid Jolt's physical recovery.

(Thunderbolts I#57)- Radek and other agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. managed to escape the debris of Mt. Charteris when it was destroyed through the independent efforts of Humus Sapien and Graviton. He encountered Songbird, Citizen V and M.A.C.H.-3 as they set out to oppose Graviton. Radek was disappointed to learn of the Redeemers' apparent deaths at Graviton's hands, but opposed Citizen V causing Songbird and M.A.C.H.-3 to violate their paroles. However, M.A.C.H.-3 observed that the three of them could be just out for a hike, and Radek played along, granting the trio his blessings.

(Thunderbolts I#59)- In the aftermath of Graviton's defeat, Scream of the Redeemers manifested itself as a massive version of Angar the Screamer, the superhuman it had been derived from, and began to absorb sonic energy from Burton Canyon, effecitvely rendering the townspeople mute. Radek met up with Songbird, who detailed a plan to defeat Scream by having S.H.I.E.L.D. rebuild the carapace she used to generate her powers. Songbird ultimately destroyed Scream, allowing its energies to dissipate.
