Powers/Abilities: Hardaway was a cyborg designed to be immune to the effects of psionic attacks through his hybrid nature, enabling him to shift his thoughts into machine-mode. His body was also composed of an unknown metal which could expand, enabling him to stretch his limbs and tranform his hands into claws.
History: (X-Force I#27) - When the Mutant Liberation Front came to capture Henry Peter Gyrich from his estate, Gyrich unleashed Hardaway to engage them so that he could be studied in the field. Hardaway struck down Forearm from behind, slashing him in the back, and then shifted his thoughts to machine-mode, rendering him immune to the effects of Wildside and Tempo's powers. However, Moonstar and Locus then arrived, and Moonstar incapacitated him with a neural arrow. Locus then phase-shifted part of his body to another location, killing him.
When Gyrich saw Hardaway's body he chastised the MLF for their actions, but Forearm claimed that Gyrich had turned Hardaway into an "emotionless killing machine," and aside from Tempo, the MLF felt no guilt for having terminated him.
