History: (Journey into Mystery I#80/1 (fb) -BTS) - Zamora was a descendant of gypsies who made a fortune manufacturing aircrafts in Europe.

(Journey into Mystery I#80/1) - Zamora's long-time business rival Luther Krumhausen invited him to his mansion to discuss a possible merger of their companies. The rivals had dinner, and Zamora passed out from drinking a drugged wine. Krumhausen dragged the unconscious Zamora into a room where the furnishings were ten times life size. When Zamora woke up he thought he had somehow shrunk in size, and the shock gave him a heart attack. Krumhausen gloated over Zamora as he lay dying, and Zamora called upon his gypsy ancestors to put a curse on Krumhausen. Zamora transferred his spirit into Krumhausen's cat and shrunk Krumhausen down to a few inches in size. In his cat form he avenged himself on the shrunken Krumhausen.

Comments: Created by an unnamed writer, Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers.

As with many 1950's and 1960's Marvel monster stories, this story is not confirmed as part of Earth-616 continuity, but there's nothing to exclude it either.

No known connection to:

Luther Krumhausen

Aircraft industrialist and one of the richest men in Europe. His only business competition was Darius Zamora, and after his henchmen Kuhn and Gruber told him that Zamora had a weak heart he came up with a scheme to kill his rival. He had a room constructed in his mansion that was ten times life size and invited Darius over to discuss a possible business merger. He drugged Darius and put him in the giant room. The shock caused Darius to suffer a heart attack, and Krumhausen bragged about his scheme to his dying rival. Zamora cursed Krumhausen, and Krumhausen soon found himself shrunk down to a few inches in size. He was easy prey for his own pet cat, whom Zamora had transferred his spirit into.
