History:
(
Crimson Dynamo#2 (fb) - BTS) - Oksana attended the Frunzenskaya School (a Spetsshkoly, a special school for students who tested well), at which her father was the dean. She apparently had the highest grades in her school. She was friends with fellow student Tamara, and she was apparently annoyed by the attentions of student Gennady Gavrilov.

Oksana applied to Moscow State University.

(Crimson Dynamo#2) - As Oksana and Tamara stood by a door, Tamara noted Gennady's approach, but Oksana replied that she had thought Gennady was interning at the Moscow State University. Tamara told her not to make it sound glamorous as he was just moving boxes in their warehouse a couple days a week.

Tamara then asked Oksana if she wanted to place pets on how long he would babble and drool in front of her this day. Oksana insisted that it was not going to happen this time and that she should not always be made to feel uncomfortable; she resolved that she was going to tell him, "Don't you know any other women?" However, Gennady, who had discovered a hidden prototype Crimson Dynamo helmet and believed he was using it to play games (but who was unwittingly activating the Crimson Dynamo armor remotely), whipped open the door and ran past them, apologizing as Oksana was knocked on her skirt-wearing butt in the snow. zilberfarb-oksana-cd-snow

Presumably the next day, Oksana told Tamara that she still couldn't believe "that little jerk," as she had been wearing a new coat. After Tamara reminded her that he did say he was sorry, Oksana replied that she would make him sorry and that she would break every bone in his -- and she was cut off when Gennady again rushed out the door and knocked her into the snow. As Oksana ranted, "Idiot! Durok! Malenkil merzavets!" (the latter two meaning "Fool! What a scoundrel!" according to Co-Pilot AI translation), Tamara told her that it was like a freight train, and that you learned to listen for the rumbles.

(Crimson Dynamo#3) - Sometime later, as Gennady sat outside the dean's office, Oksana told Tamara to look what they had let into the school that day. After Tamara remarked that she thought the Latin name was Gennadius Horribilus, the Slouching Terror, Oksana replied that he would be the toothless terror if he didn't pay her cleaning bill. She further addressed Gennady, "You little stain. I'll knock your butt in the snow and see how you like it!" As the frustrated Gennady held his head silently, Tamara asked Oksana if she thought she could do any worse than her father, the dean, or Gennady's mother would. Oksana answered that she would take whatever was left when they were done, although there was not much meat on him. She continued her rant, warning Gennady that if he touched her again, she would rip out his stomach and wear it as a hat.

(Crimson Dynamo#3 - BTS) - Dean Zilberfarb told Gennady's mother, Anna, that Gennady was being expelled for running out during the school day and knocking down his daughter (whom he insisted would never hurt anyone). However, Anna, who worked in the office at Moscow State University threatened to prevent Oksana from getting into Moscow State University if he expelled Gennady.
Anna was bluffing, as she had never seen Oksana's application, but Dean Zilberfarb fell for it.

Comments: Created by John Jackson Miller and Steve Ellis.
Oddly, the series was under the Epic imprint, but Loki found an old e-mail from Marvel editorial from when we wrote the handbook profile confirming that the series was not creator-owned.
I don't know why it was under the Epic imprint.

This profile was completed 02/28/2026, but its publication was delayed as it was intended to represent Crimson Dynamo (Gennady Gavrilov) for the Appendix 25th anniversary 's celebratory event.
